Welcome to Tom's Precious Pocket Pups! Home of the Carlin Pinscher and Pocket Beagle. Carlin Pinschers are a relatively new hybrid mix of a Pug and a Min Pin. They were bred to look like a mini Rottweiler. We are a small hobby breeder located in Central Virginia and have been breeding dogs for over 15 years. After breeding for another company we decided to step back and slow down. With animal shelters becoming over loaded with unwanted pets, we took a break and down sized. Now we are focusing on just the Carlin but do have an occasional litter of Pocket Beagles or maybe a litter of puggles every now and then. Most of our dogs are pets and live indoors with us. Most males are raised in 20x20 runs in the summer with access to an air conditioned indoor kennel. In the winter all of our dogs are brought indoors on cold days to stay in the heated kennel. All of our puppies are born and raised in our home. They are socialized from birth and started on paper training.
We welcome other small local kennels breeding less than 5 litters per year.
